Our hearts go out to the many people directly and indirectly impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.
To protect both our staff and our customers, L&M Electric Inc. is changing the type of work we’re providing through the month of April (and potentially longer), as well as how we’re taking precautions outlined by the CDC for when we serve customers (in the limited capacity described below).
Direct Consumer Electrical Installation & Repair Including Warranty Service Calls
We are accommodating exterior electrical work, unoccupied electrical home interior service, and emergency interior work. If you’re unsure if your situation is considered an emergency, is eligible for a service call right now, or if it warrants an exception, please give us a call at 1-770-978-2300 to discuss.
Any delay in inspection or completion of warranty items resulting from these restrictions will not impact your warranty coverage.
Safety Protocols For On-Site Electrical Service
For the homeowners we do serve directly during this time, we’ll be taking proactive action to prevent and minimize the potential spread of the virus with the following procedures.
- While a majority of our office staff is working remotely, we’re encouraging our sick on-site technicians to stay at home and recover through appropriate self-isolation.
- We are also asking employees who have family members sick with the Coronavirus to also stay at home and notify their superior of their situation.
- Our service technicians are following a protocol to minimize transmission including no handshaking, coughing into sleeve or tissue, staying six feet away from customers, and hand sanitizing before and after each service call (and more, if appropriate).
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at 1-770-978-2300.
